excellent choices! why i forgot to include Grant Morrison is beyond me, since i have often crowed about that being one of the most perfect magical texts. probably all this renaissance magical writing i've been reading lately...

i avoided Leary because i think that Wilson summarizes him excellently, and is much less obfuscatory, to boot.

i haven't read Johnstone, but will look into that one. thanks!
I guess I have a soft spot for Leary. I went to see him speak a few times and shared a beer with him.

Johnstone's book is about undoing the training that you receive in childhood through a series of improvisationary games. It is like watching someone rediscover magick from scratch in an entirely different field.
